BlockerX is an Android app in the Lifestyle category that works as a content filtering and distraction blocking tool. It is intended to support smoother working or web browsing by filtering adult material and other content that may cause discomfort. The app provides both basic and advanced options, and some of its additional resources require exploration before use.
Version 5.1.8 is available with the MOD label Premium Unlocked. The app is listed at 62M, and the package name is io.funswitch.blocker.
Adult Content Filtering
BlockerX functions as a content filtering tool with a focus on 18+ adult content. According to the source, such content can be hidden in any location, and the app protects users from the discomfort it brings. Users can control what they see or what content appears on their smartphone before use. This applies whether the user is an adult or a child, so neither has to be affected by harmful effects from unhealthy content sites.
- Adult websites appear less often, which helps avoid potential dangers.
- Search results often exclude items that have been on the blacklist for a long time.
Social Media Limiting
Content filtering is the main feature users find in BlockerX. Some features need to be enabled, and others require filling in corresponding information. This process may be done over time because it is not possible for anyone to remember every site they have visited that supports inappropriate content. Users can increase the amount of information to filter based on pages and keywords, and unpleasant sites can be blacklisted quickly. The censorship level can also be changed based on mode, with the highest mode being strict, which does not allow unfriendly things to go beyond the fence.
- Social networking sites are often the first target because they cause distractions at work.
- Instead of constantly focusing on entertainment, users can use reasonable amounts of time to complete necessary tasks.
Distraction Blocking
Beyond the basic features, advanced features help users feel comfortable and worry-free when surfing different websites. These include filtering by keywords, whitelisting, and blacklisting. Users can quickly enter keywords or content that is not appropriate for the age of the person using the smartphone. Blacklists are collections of an unlimited number of websites, and one link can make a website no longer appear before the user's eyes.
- App locking is described as extremely simple: things that annoy the user can disappear from sight and let them focus on interesting content.
- The app is compatible with many different apps. As long as the application is running, anything becomes a target to be blocked.
Accountability Partner
In addition to block-related features, users can find additional utilities that help improve the quality of their web surfing. Advice related to the internet or related fields can be found quickly. The amount of information is diverse, and users can freely read anything they want, so they may feel excited when finding completely new information or experiences. User experiences are also shown because this is an application that creates a strong network of connections between users.
- Notifications provide necessary information to help users stay safe while surfing the web and in many other aspects related to the device.
- Sharing with friends is easy, and users are encouraged to invite friends to use the app to enjoy the most optimal elements.
Educational Resources
If users feel increasingly bored at work, the AI features supported by the application should not be ignored. Mood can change immediately when receiving AI's fun questions, and the number of messages cannot be controlled. Everything only stops when the user feels tired and wants to do something else or has the spirit to continue their own work. This makes the AI a useful friend to solve problems, relieve stress easily, and meet a certain part of the user's work.
- Interesting articles: information or videos about events attract users' attention to updating information.
- Improve mindsets: through studying, changing habits is easy and helps users develop immediately at work.
