DMCA Policy

Android1 respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe material available through android1.org infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, you may send us a copyright infringement notice.

This page describes the information we need to identify the material and review the request. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Copyright notice requirements

Send a written notice to admin@android1.org containing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material to be removed or reviewed, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it. Include the exact Android1 URL whenever possible.
  4. Contact information reasonably sufficient for us to reach you.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

After we receive a notice

We may request additional information when a notice does not identify the affected material clearly enough. When a request is sufficiently documented, we may remove or disable access to the material, update links or metadata, or take another appropriate action while the matter is reviewed.

Misrepresentation

Please do not submit a copyright complaint for material you do not own or have authority to represent. Knowingly submitting materially false information may have legal consequences.

Counter-notice

If material associated with you was removed or disabled because of a copyright complaint and you believe the action resulted from mistake or misidentification, contact us with the affected URL, an explanation of the issue, your contact information and any information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.
