Description

App Usage is an Android productivity app developed by Sam Lu. It records information about how applications are used on a device and presents that information for review. The app also covers battery and location management as part of its monitoring scope.

The current listing is version 6.15, and this MOD variant includes Pro Unlocked. The app is listed in the Productivity category.

Usage Tracking and Display

App Usage presents device performance information in a table with columns. Each app occupies a column, and usage is calculated as a percentage. The app records the applications being used on the device and organizes that information for the user.

Information shown in the app includes recently used apps, a dedicated device time period, and an overview of new app installs. A circular map provides an overview of usage. Apps that are not used often are placed on a low interaction list, and a recommendation to remove them is made when the user visits that list.

Alerts and Notifications

Notifications sent by App Usage use separate sound recognition settings. Each message informs the user about limits related to excessive use of capacity. App-related issues on the device are also monitored, and similar alerts are sent for those issues.

Installation or update reminders are sent when required by the system. The app also sends alerts when device usage exceeds allowable conditions. Notifications warn about usage and about increases in negative metrics.

Battery and Location Management

App Usage manages battery and location alongside app usage. Users can observe how applications on the device are performing, view metrics related to that content, and address battery limitations. Monitoring these indicators is presented as a way to protect the device and increase battery life.

The location tracking function may involve some visual interference. The system can provide translations when requested by the user.

Activity Records

User activities are recorded and presented as a complete list. The app tracks content related to the applications in use, and each application has its own folder for representation.
