Ambience: sleeping sounds is an Android app in the Lifestyle category, developed by mikdroid. It is built around creating sound mixes from nature sleep music, with the stated aim of helping users relax, fall asleep, or focus. The audio used in the app is described as professionally recorded.
The app is listed at version 4.9.2 with a size of 120M. A separate APK variant in the source is named Ambience v4.9.0 (Premium).apk and is listed at 87.8MB. The package name is it.mm.android.ambience. This release is marked as a MOD with the label Premium Unlocked.
Building a Personal Sound Environment
Ambience is designed around combining sounds rather than playing a single fixed track. Users can put several sounds together into one melody and set the volume of each individual sound within that mix. The source describes this as complete customization, with a range of high-quality sounds that includes nature sounds and music.
The stated purpose of this mixing is to create a space that matches a specific mood and to help the brain relax and move into deeper sleep. The app is also described as a way to build a safe and familiar sleeping environment for adults and for babies during long extended sleep.
The source gives one example of how mixing works in practice: if you want gentle bird sounds in the background of a powerful waterfall, you can adjust the balance as you like. This is presented as an alternative to fixed presets, since the recordings can be mixed and matched with individual volume control.
Saving, Playback, and Timer
Sound combinations can be saved and played back whenever the user wants. The source states that saved creations can be played with a timer, and that this makes it easy to return to favorite relaxing sounds without interruption while sleeping.
A built-in timer mode can stop the sound automatically when the user falls asleep. The source describes this as a seamless experience that helps save battery. The app is also stated to keep playing music even when the screen is off, without interruptions.
Bedtime Reminder and Daily Use
The app includes a daily bedtime reminder feature. According to the source, this is intended to help users establish scientific living habits and maintain good health.
Beyond sleep, the source lists several activities the app supports: sleeping, meditating, concentrating, and reading relaxing books. It is described as a useful tool for daily life and as a way to escape stress.
Health-Related Uses
The source states that the soothing sounds help users regenerate necessary energy and that the app reduces anxiety, insomnia, and tinnitus symptoms. These claims are presented as benefits of using the app's audio.
Interface and Accessibility
The interface is described as user-friendly and as not limiting users by age. The source also describes the app as intuitive and automatic.
