Township is a casual Android game from Playrix. It places you in a town that is already fairly developed, set near the ocean and a train track. Your role is to unlock new areas and help the town grow. The farm you manage supplies resources for the whole town, and selling what you produce brings in money.
This listing is for a MOD version of Township v39.0.5. The MOD provides Unlimited Money, which is separate from the normal game features described below.
Farm Management
The farm is central to Township. It is where you spend most of your time, and the money you earn there is used to develop the city. The farm starts with rice fields and livestock areas that you manage. You can grow many types of crops that bring high economic benefits. Over time, the size of plants increases through an upgrading process, so they need attention and care.
Controls are simple: you drag and drop items or swipe the screen to harvest. This makes the gameplay easy to understand quickly. The farm is not isolated; it sits inside a town that is also quite developed and surrounded by forests.
Town Building and Expansion
The town begins with a pre-built farm, so you do not need to construct or renovate it from scratch. You continue developing what is already there. A developed city needs many tall buildings with full amenities, and you can also decorate based on what you obtain.
Unlocking buildings brings changes to the town and farm. Some buildings have predetermined locations, so you take them to the corresponding spot to complete the mission. Others can be placed arbitrarily, and you arrange them reasonably for convenience. Each building has a different role, and opening more of them costs more money.
Expansion is possible when you meet certain conditions. One criterion is related to money. Once you meet everything, you can expand any area you want. When you build a new building, the area in town decreases. The southwest and southeast of the town have train tracks. If you cannot use these elements, you can unlock other areas instead.
Resources and Mining
A huge resource exists within your town, and you should take full advantage of it by exploring mines. After having a certain amount of money, you can consider upgrading and investing to create many opportunities.
Animals and Zoo
Over time, you unlock additional livestock that provide various benefits. You take care of different animals. The living area can be expanded, which helps you improve your town and gather more species from around the world.
Social Features
Money in Township comes entirely from trading within the town. Trading is done after you finish building the bakery. To find potential customers, you sometimes check the town minimap for a while. Customers who need your product appear quickly, and you click on the request to complete it. Each request has two characteristic colors: green usually indicates requests qualified to fill, and red signals a lack of product.
You can interact with other players by assisting them in some simple tasks and creating bonds. When you visit another town, you may notice unique layouts that provide interesting inspirations.
