Completed Pokédex entries and rare catches can be shown to friends.

GO Battle League

The GO Battle League lets you battle other Trainers online. You take your caught Pokémon into duels against opponents' Pokémon. Winning battles helps you climb rankings, with new ranks such as Ace Trainer and Legend unlocked as you win more. Victories and completed sets earn rewards including Stardust and Rare Candies. Continued battling increases your rating and matches you against tougher opponents.

Raid Battles

Raid Battles offer a cooperative mode for up to 20 Trainers. A countdown begins, and the team must defeat powerful bosses before time runs out. Using your most powerful Pokémon's best attacks helps deal big damage. Wins bring rare rewards such as Candy and TMs to power up Pokémon and teach new moves. Raid Battles are also described as the best way to catch Legendary and very rare Pokémon. Becoming friends with other Trainers unlocks greater Raid Battle reward bonuses.
