Memrise Easy Language Learning is an Android education app developed by Memrise. It is built around short study sessions: the source material states that users do not need to spend hours in front of the screen and can complete the exercises in a few dozen minutes. The app is listed in the Education category, and this release carries version number 2026.09.28.0.
The learning material is presented as carefully designed and detailed lectures, with documents drawn from trusted sources. The stated aim is to help users improve speaking skills and handle practical situations, including travel, understanding signs, and following what a waiter says.
How the Learning Works
Lessons are intended to be relevant to everyday life. The source describes a routine that is maintained over time and lasts only a few dozen minutes per day. Pronunciation and expression are areas the app targets, with the stated goal of improvements similar to native speakers.
Two specific learning formats are named in the source material:
- Interesting scenarios: instead of learning from books, users imitate native speakers in famous movie scenes.
- Common vocabulary: the app is intended to support confident communication with native speakers after studying.
Adaptive Lessons and Content
The source states that the app suggests appropriate and quality lessons based on the user's level. It also states that all fully supported foreign languages have lectures of the same quality, so a user can start a completely new language and work through basic to advanced sentences on different topics.
Long-term learning is part of the described approach: users are expected to focus on learning and fully improve their skills over a long period.
Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Practice
The lecture system includes new vocabulary and sample sentences for practice. After that knowledge is mastered, the source says the app allows users to go through videos featuring native speakers, listen, and complete small exercises. Pronunciation practice offers a choice between native speakers and AI. After completing an exercise, the described final step is to make the knowledge one's own with communication support, speaking confidently and waiting for error correction from the app.
Three content points are highlighted in the source:
- Diverse vocabulary: many new words suited to each topic.
- Simple pronunciation improvement: a choice between native speakers and AI.
- Common sentences: a growing collection of everyday communication sayings over time.
Study Anywhere
The source states that the app can be accessed from mobile, tablet, and desktop, and that users can study at any time to maintain positive habits with the language they are learning. It also mentions that, depending on the mode, users can access lessons to study and pass the time.
Travel is a recurring theme: the source says the knowledge learned can be used in different communication situations, such as understanding signs or what a waiter is saying, and that knowing a certain number of sentences provides peace of mind in a new country.
