Description

Funk Brasil is a music and audio app from Kolb Apps that turns touchscreen pads into a tool for creating drum-based recordings. The app is available for Android, and this version is listed as 8.36.2 with a size of 41M.

The app presents drum pads as the starting point for your work. Touching the pads begins the process of creating sounds and recording them, and the pads can be touched at the same time to produce combined sounds.

Drum Pads and Recording

Drums are the main instrument in the recordings made with Funk Brasil. The pad icons are intended to help users tell the pads apart and perform a track. The source material describes the app as a new-generation electronic musical instrument that users can own and operate themselves.

Recording is part of the workflow: the process of creating sounds and recording them is carried out by the user. The app also states that voice recording is available in studio quality.

Accompaniment and Sound Options

Funk Brasil includes various drum accompaniment systems. According to the source, these systems support the creation of hundreds of recordings in various styles and genres. Additional choices are combined with drums to shape a personal musical style.

The system is described as updating new types of drums with improved sound quality every week. Audio uploaded as extracts is described as keeping its original rhythm and sound intact.
