FTP Server v0.16.3 MOD APK

FTP Server is an Android app from Banana Studio that lets you set up an FTP server on your phone so files can be accessed and shared with friends across a network. The app is listed in the Tools category, and the version shown here is 0.16.3. A MOD variant is available with the label Premium Unlocked.

The app supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and tethering connections. It is free to download, and the source material also states that it is made to assist users in reducing the time spent charging their devices.

Access Folders and Permissions

Each user account can be given its own access folders. You can choose any folder on the device, whether it is on internal storage or a memory card, and set that folder as read-only or as allowing writing. This gives you a way to regulate which accounts and files each user can reach.

Multiple Accounts

The app supports multiple accounts, including anonymous ones. Account permissions can be customized, and these permissions can include viewing hidden files and other sensitive data. The source describes this setup as a way to transfer files to friends safely and quickly.

Automatic Port Opening

An automatic port opening mode is included, and the source states that files stored on the FTP server are accessible from any location when it is used. Next to the “Automatically open router port” toggle, a “Tutorials” section provides information on enabling UPnP for this function on supported routers. The source describes this as useful for frequent fliers because it allows access to files anywhere.

Tasker Integration

The Android automation app Tasker can be used with FTP Server through integration with the app. With this integration, users can set up a new Task Action by clicking System > Send Intent to control the server’s startup and shutdown procedures and the router’s port forwarding capabilities. The source describes this as an improvement to the app’s functionality that facilitates remote server administration.

Client Compatibility

Any FTP client application running on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, or a web browser is described as fully compatible with FTP Server. The source lists examples including FileZilla, Windows Explorer, Finder on Mac OS, a file manager on Linux OS, Total Commander on Android, ES File Explorer on Android, and Astro File Manager on Android. According to the source, this compatibility means files can be accessed from any device regardless of the operating system.
