Dungeon Warfare 2 is a tower defense strategy game for Android developed by Valsar. As the dungeon lord, your task is to protect your dungeon from heroes and adventurers using a variety of traps and obstacles. This sequel expands on the original with additional features for defending your dungeon.

Traps and Strategic Combinations

The game includes 33 distinct traps. Each trap has 8 special traits, which allows for many strategic combinations. For example, a curse trap can weaken warriors by sapping their strength, while spike traps are effective against thieves. With these options, each playthrough can differ based on the traps you choose and how you combine them.

Enemies and Levels

There are over 30 unique enemies, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. You need to select traps that counter specific threats. Some enemies have unique traits: banshees can bypass certain traps, and wooden shields protect kobolds from frontal assaults. The game includes more than 60 handcrafted levels and endless procedurally generated dungeons. To succeed, you must assess vulnerabilities and build defenses tailored to each threat.

Progression Systems

Traps gain experience through use, earning passive damage and utility bonuses. There are three skill trees, each with 11 abilities. These abilities are unlocked using points earned by completing dungeon waves. As you progress, traps and skills become more powerful, adding depth to the strategy.

Customizable Challenge and Rewards

An equipment system with special runes lets you customize difficulty. Activating certain runes decreases player health, increases enemy speed or numbers, and enables friendly fire. In return, you receive greater rewards and bragging rights. The game also offers infinite and endless game modes, along with five epic boss battles that require mastery to overcome.

Physics and Destruction

The game uses pixel art with physics modeling for trap mechanics. Walls and rubble cascade when smashed by heavy pounders. Enemies ragdoll through spike pits, fry with electricity, and get flattened by crushers. You can create trap combinations, such as shooting foes onto conveyors leading into acid moats. The physics-based interactions produce comical destruction.
